Psychotherapy and Counselling

Our team of Registered Social Workers and Registered Psychotherapists provide collaborative and relational psychotherapy and counselling. We're here for you. Let's get started.

We all have a deep desire to be happy. Yet life can be tough, and sometimes it leaves us feeling weighed down, disconnected, or unsure of who we are or where we’re headed. If you’ve been carrying pain, navigating big life changes, or longing for more joy and ease, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’d love to sit with you in whatever you’re going through—whether it’s heartbreak, grief, identity questions, processing past trauma, difficult relationships, or just feeling stuck—and help you find your way forward. As a queer trans man, I bring compassion, care, and an affirming and non-judgmental space where all of you is welcome. I specialize in working with trans and non-binary people, queer men, young adults, and others within the LGBTQ+ community. In my work with clients, I incorporate Buddhist psychology, mindfulness-based and somatic therapies, self-compassion, EMDR, IFS-informed therapy, and more, depending on each person’s needs and preferences.

I care deeply about meeting each client with care and respect, and honouring each person’s journey with all its successes and challenges. If something in my profile resonates with you, I encourage you to reach out and schedule a free consultation to see if it feels like a good fit. I hope to meet you.

Many people come to therapy wanting to feel more at ease, more connected, or more themselves, but life experiences, hardships, or old wounds often get in the way. If this feels familiar, you might be looking for someone to help you explore what’s holding you back and how to move forward in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.

I am a practicum student working toward becoming a Registered Psychotherapist (RP). I have a background in psychology and spiritual care, and for years I’ve worked alongside children, youth, and families who have experienced hardships, often because systems or people meant to protect them have failed. My experiences have taught me the value of being met with compassion, patience, and respect. These values shape how I show up for every person I work with.

I welcome clients from all walks of life. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and culturally responsive, with space for both depth and moments of lightness. I believe therapy works best when you can show up exactly as you are, knowing you’ll be met with empathy, honesty, and respect.

In our sessions, I use a flexible, integrative approach that weaves together evidence-based tools and relational depth. Sometimes that means focusing on practical skills to help you manage symptoms; other times, it means slowing down to explore the deeper roots of your experiences. Often, it’s a blend of both.

If you choose to work with me, we’ll go at your pace. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you in a way that feels grounded, human, and supportive.

Hello, and welcome! I’m thankful you’re taking this brave step in seeking support. Here’s a little about me so you can decide if I’d be a good fit for you.

My experience in supporting others has largely been with youth and young adults, 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, harm reduction, neurodivergence, and individuals seeking to build upon their internal awareness and communication skills. In our sessions, I strive to create a space that acknowledges the systems affecting your daily life, values your inherent wisdom, and invites courage to share your story. My approach is holistic, relationship-centred, and trauma-informed.

I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative, and Somatic theories—methods that focus on understanding all parts of yourself and addressing every aspect of life, including spirit, body, and mind. These approaches help us explore your experiences in a way that fosters healing and growth through a focus on your story, parts, and values. I thrive in conversations that take us beyond the surface and dive a little deeper through our internal world.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, playing board games, spending time in nature, and picking up new hobbies—currently, I’m training for a triathlon and learning new baking skills! I believe creativity is a powerful tool for self-exploration, and I encourage you to bring your interests into our sessions.

As a lifelong learner, I am continually inspired by the chance to walk alongside others and be trusted with their stories. I offer virtual sessions across Ontario and in-person sessions in our London and Toronto offices. It would be an honour to support you in reaching your goals and building a life that aligns with your values. If you feel we might be a good match, please reach out for a free consultation. Let’s begin this journey together.

I’m so glad you’re here! Whether you decide to book a consult with me or one of my colleagues, congratulations on taking this step to focus on your mental health.

I am a gay, cis-gendered, white settler grateful to live in Toronto (Tkaronto). I’ve been lucky to serve clients with identities including queer, trans, neurodivergent (including autism and ADHD), members of the global majority, kinky, and consensually non-monogamous.

My primary therapeutic approach is currently internal family system (IFS) therapy. If you’ve ever said, “A part of me feels one way, but another part of me feels the opposite,” you’re already speaking IFS’ language. I can help you meet and accept the many parts of yourself, learn why they feel/think/behave as they do, and discover your natural ability to calm your distress and heal old hurts. Along the way, folks tend to increase their confidence, courage, and clarity through self-compassion.

I’ve worked with people dealing with emotions such as anxiety, anger, abandonment, depression, loneliness, guilt, and grief; behaviours such as perfectionism, procrastination, emotional disconnection, self-criticism, dissociation, and low self-esteem; and situations such as toxic workplaces, recent break-ups, and exploring sexuality and gender identity/expression.

Outside of this work, I love running, mindfulness meditation, board games, live music, and learning dance moves from TikTok.

I’m accepting new clients for in-person sessions in Toronto and virtual sessions across Ontario. If you think we might be a fit, please book a consult!

You may be coming to therapy because words alone don’t feel like enough.

Whether you’re feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety or depression, carrying grief, navigating trauma, moving through a life transition, struggling with interpersonal conflicts, or feeling overwhelmed about the climate and the future, I offer a supportive space to explore and heal.

I work with children, youth, adults, couples, and families. My approach blends talk therapy with creative and embodied practices such as expressive arts, play, body-based awareness, and nature connection. Alongside these, I also integrate approaches like ACT, DBT, and mindfulness. Together, these methods allow us to find what feels most supportive for you, creating a holistic and inclusive path toward well-being.

Creative expression can open doors that words alone sometimes cannot. Therapy that includes imagination, play, and different modes of expression can offer new insights, fresh perspectives, and deeper compassion for yourself and your experiences. This approach can be especially helpful for children and youth, neurodivergent individuals, those living with trauma, as well as couples and families. This kind of therapy offers alternative ways to build connection, improve communication, and strengthen resilience between yourself and your loved ones.

I am also deeply passionate about the natural world and how it can support healing. As a Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide and founder of the Forest Bathing Club, I bring practices that help people experience the natural world as a grounding and restorative companion.

As a queer, neurodivergent practitioner, I work from a trauma-informed, culturally humble, anti-oppression, and decolonizing framework. Clients and colleagues often describe me as grounded, compassionate, and creative, someone who brings warmth and openness to the therapy space.

Hi! I’m Zach. Thank you for being here.

I have 10+ years experience supporting queer and trans communities through facilitating peer support groups, supporting folks through medical gender transition, and community organizing. I have also worked in harm reduction, psychoeducation, and wilderness therapy.

In my psychotherapy practice, I typically work with folks going through life transitions, having difficulty in relationships, dealing with low self-esteem, or experiencing depression and/or anxiety. The folks I work with often find that patterns or feelings from their past are coming into their present in ways that no longer serve them.

Since we often experience hurt and harm in the context of relationships, I believe we can also experience healing in the context of relationships. You can bring whatever you need or want to talk about to the session and we will work together to make sense of what is happening for you, what patterns to let go of, and how to feel whole.

I am trained in relational psychotherapy, which means that I’ll want to explore your experience of attachments and relationships. We will seek out how you learned to be connected or disconnected in relationships, and in this work, we will discover the assumptions and beliefs you hold based on your life experiences. In our sessions, we will also build a way of relating to each other. This will give you an opportunity to integrate the insights you discover, and to create a space where you can experience something different in relationships.

I understand that larger systems impact how folks are able to navigate their relationships with themselves and others. I understand the necessity of contextualizing client experiences within those systems and I strive to practice therapy in an anti-oppressive and anti-racist way.

When not working, I can often be found gardening, climbing trees, or camping. My love of nature often enters into my work as a therapist because mother nature often provides excellent metaphors and insights into the events and circumstances of our own lives.
